Precision Real Time Clock Memory Module DS3231 RTC  I2C Module

You can use this practical break out having DS3231 RTC and 24c32 EEPROM ICs for your DIY projects needed precise real time clock information. This modul has I2C communication interface. Additionally you can find CR2032 clock battery housing for RTC modul on the board.
 

The main difference between DS3231 and DS1307 is that DS3231 has a temperature - compensated crystal. This allows DS3231 to be more precise.

IMPORTANT NOTE: The board charges the battery with VCC voltage. If you are using a non-rechargeable type battery such as CR2032, you need to modify the board. If it is to be used with CR2032, the resistor or zener diode marked in yellow must be removed. Visuals are located below. You can use it with rechargeable watch batteries such as LIR2032 without any problems.

This product is shipped without the battery
