SOP-8 to DIP-8 SMD to DIP Adapter Board
The SOP-8 to DIP-8 SMD to DIP adapter board is a convenient tool that simplifies the process of soldering SMD components. If you have the right PCB, soldering SMD components becomes a breeze. This PCB allows you to use SMD components such as SOP8 TSSOP8 SSOP8 on a breadboard or in the prototyping of PCBs. It is ideal for evaluating SMD integrated circuits without having to manufacture a PCB every time.
Functionality
The adapter allows you to solder a SOP8 component on one side or a TSSOP8 SSOP8 component on the other side. After soldering, you can use the SMD component just like a through-hole component - connect it to a breadboard or solder wires directly to the pins.
Design
The pins are divided into standard DIP pins with a spacing of 0.1 inch (2.54 mm). Clear markings have been placed on the pins for easy identification and prototyping.
Compatibility
The SOP8 TSSOP8 SSOP8 to DIP8 adapter is a compact adapter for all SO, SOP, TSSOP, MSOP based SMD chips/transistors. You can solder SMD chips or use them for programming similar chips like PIC12F629/675. It is a double-sided adapter from SOP8/SOIC8/SO8/TSSOP8/SSOP8 SMD to DIP, with one side used for a 0.65 mm pin pitch, and the other for a 1.27 mm pitch.
Usage
All you have to do is connect this adapter to your PIC programmer and push the PIC12F series chips onto the PCB to load the code into the chips.
Note
Header pins are not included in the package.
